While the optical design controls spherical aberrations to maintain good overall sharpness, Voigtl\u00e4nder intentionally leaves certain optical characteristics uncorrected to produce its signature classic rendering.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The optical formula consists of eight elements in six groups, including one high-refractive-index element. This enables EXIF data transmission along with support for focus magnification, in-body image stabilization, and in-camera lens correction profiles.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><b>Small Differences Between Nikon and Canon Versions<\/b><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Nikon Z and Canon RF versions are largely identical but feature slightly different exterior designs.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Nikon Z model retains the scalloped focusing ring found on the Sony E version, while the Canon RF version uses a diamond-knurled focusing ring.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Canon RF lens measures 37.6mm in length and weighs 260g, while the Nikon Z version is slightly longer at 41.6mm and weighs 250g.
